Donald A. Novotny's Obituary
Donald A. Novotny, 80, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2017.
Beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia; loving father of Donna (Glenn) Crisler, Sharon Jacques, Michelle (Joseph) Tisher, Norene Kuentz, Stephen (Lauri), and Russell (Eloise); dear grandfather of Christopher, Zachary, James (Lynzee), Jessica, the late Adam and the late Jenna; great-grandfather of eight.
Donald was employed as a police officer with the Rocky River Police Department, the Hamblen Co. TN Sheriff’s Department (at the rank of Captain), and the Olmsted Twp. Police Department.
He was a 50 year member of the John W. Barkley Lodge No. 621. Donald was loved by everyone.
Visitation is 10 a.m. – 12 noon, Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 12 noon. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
