Donald Pfeiffer Jr.'s Obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald "Don" Pfeiffer Jr., who left us on September 4, 2024. Born on November 11, 1950, Don spent his years living a life filled with family, humor, and loving care.
Don was preceded in his death by his father, Donald Pfeiffer Sr., and his mother, Mary Jeanine Pfeiffer.
He is survived by his sons, Zachary Pfeiffer and Christopher Pfeiffer. Don's granddaughter, Cierra Flowers, was the apple of his eye, his ray of sunshine, and his most precious treasure. He is also survived by his brothers Doug, David, and Daniel Pfeiffer, and his sister Barbara Pfeiffer, whose company and companionship he always cherished. He also leaves behind his former spouse, turned dear friend Maria Pfeiffer and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Don was always the life of the party, his personality best described as 'sarcastic', often infusing laughter and light-heartedness into any situation. He was a devoted sports fan, rarely missing a game of The Cleveland Browns or The Cleveland Indians. Don’s love for his family was unparalleled and was often evident during family gatherings which he always made extra special.
Described as a man of simple tastes, Don found joy in some of life's sweetest pleasures. He enjoyed Whitman's Chocolates and Lorna Doones, with a glass of Ginger Ale at his side.
One of his proudest and most rewarding accomplishments was helping raise his granddaughter, Cierra. His unconditional love and support played an incredible role in shaping her into the person she is today. Holidays, family events, and ordinary days will bear an emptiness without Don's presence.
While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we also celebrate a life well lived, full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Don's spirit, memories, and his legacy will forever be etched in those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be announced when details have been arranged.
