Donald F. Prokop's Obituary
Donald F. Prokop, 91, of Brook Park passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. He was born in Westlake, Ohio on February 19, 1929. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Susan, daughter Dianne, sisters: Marian and Laura, and brother Richard. He is survived by his loving children Joyce (late Jimmy) Ames, and Donald (Terry) Prokop Jr., eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and brother Carl.
Donald was married to the love of his life for 38 wonderful years. The couple enjoyed ballroom dancing. Donald was an avid LGB train collector. When not playing train conductor for his grandchildren, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and could often be found fishing and camping. Donald’s priority was his family and he treasured the many roles he played: Dad, Pop, Papa, and Don. He kept his family entertained with his wit and dry sense of humor. He was an old fashion gentleman, who humbly took care of everyone in his family. He will be dearly missed!
