Donald V. Summer was born on April 6, 1936, and called home on March 15, 2023. Beloved husband of 57 years of Janet (nee Macko). Dear father to Cynthia Summer (spouse Kevin Costello), Andrea Summer (spouse Diane Feigi), and Erick Summer (spouse Lisa Summer). Cherished grandfather to Sonja, Alivia, Serena, Michael, and Elizabeth. Loving brother to Kenneth Summer, Jr., Laurie Bartel, and Karen Gertz. Son of the late Kenneth Summer, Sr. and Helen (nee Foritz).
Don, a selfless and compassionate man, loved his family above all else. He proudly served his country in avionics for the Air Force. Don enjoyed many camping adventures with his family and, despite many illnesses, remained positive throughout his entire life.
Family and friends may visit for calling hours on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 9:30 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 28081 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, followed by a Christian Service at 10:30 AM.
