Donn K. Roberts' Obituary
Donn K. Roberts, age 80, of North Olmsted, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2016.
He was the only child born to Merril “Barney” Roberts and LaVera “Sally” (nee Klotz), on October 13, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio. Donn graduated from Lakewood High School class of 1953 and served in the US Navy from 1953-1961. On June 21, 1963, he married his beautiful wife Nancy. They moved from Bay Village to North Olmsted in 1973 raising 3 children along the way.
As a Freemason, Donn was a member of the Al Koran Kilty Band. He and Nancy became members of John Knox Presbyterian Church in 1993, where they have attended ever since.
Donn is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Elise (nee Watjen); his children Aline (Jeff) Heiser, Reed Scott MacNary Roberts (deceased) and Clarissa Roberts; and his grandchildren Noelle, Lauren and Sawyer Reed.
Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 25200 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, where procession to cemetery will form. Donn will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
The family suggests donations may be made, in Donn’s memory, to John Knox Presbyterian Church.
