My mother-in-law, Virginia Lunsford, was a friend and neighbor of Doris's. My husband Bill and I had the pleasure of meeting Doris this past May. We sat outside under her shade trees and had a nice conversation. She was such a sweet person and made us laugh at some of her stories of years gone by. The first thing she wanted to know was what our astrological signs were. She had obviously done quite a bit of research and told us the personality traits for our signs. We enjoyed our visit and had hoped to see her again. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family. Virginia will miss her visits and telephone conversations with Doris. She was a sweetheart and we hope she is now resting in peace.
