Dorothy P. Croyle's Obituary
Dorothy Patricia Croyle (nee Hoffman), age 93, went home to be with Our Lord on October 6, 2013.
She was born to Jacob Hoffman and Olive (nee Hayman) in Cleveland. Dorothy grew up with four siblings: Olive, Florence, Salem and Elwood. As a member of the National Honor Society, she graduated from West High School in 1937. Dorothy also graduated from the Dyke School of Commerce in November of 1938.
She was a long time member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) with meetings at the West Park YMCA/YWCA.
Beloved wife of the late Paul Robert Croyle; Loving mother of David Richard in San Diego, CA, the late James Arthur (wife Sandy) in Brunswick, Russell Alan (wife Judy) in N. Ridgeville, Philip Jerry (and Janet) in Vermilion and Steven Warren (wife Connie) in Palm Harbor, FL.
Grandmother of Sean Reye, Theresa (Roberts), Kenneth Croyle, Sarah Croyle, Jimmy Croyle, Lisa Perciak, Renee Nellenbach, Katie Ostrowski, Stephanie Croyle, and Steven D. Croyle;
Great Grandmother of Timothy, Maggie, Chloe, Claire, Hannah, Emily, Samantha, Thomas, Katelyn, Kevin, Raina, Kayla Rose and Helen; Great-Great Grandmother of Hunter.
Dorothy passed away peacefully. She will always be remembered in our hearts and in our prayers.
Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, N. Olmsted. Interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park. Dorothy’s family will receive friends at the Sunset Chapel, on Friday, October 11, from 5:30-8:30 PM.
