Dorothy L. Gilliland's Obituary
Dorothy L. Gilliland, age 91, of Strongsville, OH, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017.
She was born in Cleveland, OH, on April 4, 1926, to the late Theodore T. and Margaret R. (nee Jones) Gilliland. Beloved aunt of Joyce Gilliland, Elaine “Lani” Gilliland, and James T. Gilliland; caring great aunt of Tristan, Tayt, and Katriss Lawson; loving great-great aunt of Savali Lawson, good friend of Ramona Kerrigan, Irene Kenderes, Georgia Bish, Marie Bernent, Bill Milau, Jack Kerrigan and family, Bernie Zielinski and family, the sisters of Saint Anthony: Marty, Julie and Tessie. Preceded in death by Theo “Tom” (Helen) Gilliland.
Dorothy worked at General Motors for many years before her retirement. She loved family, friends, travel, music and sports.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Dostal Bokas Funeral Services.
