Dorothy Shaughnessy Gunch's Obituary
Dorothy Shaughnessy Gunsch, age 99, passed away on July 7, 2014. She is survived by her son John “Jack”, daughter-in-law Annette (Ferrato) Shaughnessy, and granddaughter Mia (Rob) Carlson. Dorothy was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 31, 1914. She was graduated from West Technical High School and later attended Boyd’s Business College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was employed by Bay View Hospital for 26 years. Dorothy was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of the Rocky River Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral Services to be held Thursday July 10, at 12:00 pm at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake, Ohio. Relatives and friends may gather from 10:00 am until time of service. Internment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
