Dorothy Walker's Obituary
Dorothy Walker, 97, of Olmsted Township, passed away peacefully December 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved mother of Jan (Bob) Vickerts and Gary Walker; loving grandmother of Stephanie (Jason) Place, Melanie (Vince) Thompson, Todd (Jill) Vickerts, and Jessica (Patrick) Westropp; dear great grandmother of Brady, Riley, Karleigh, Nolan, and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 2012, and her parents John and Clara (Skidmore) Yung.
Dorothy made her family her priority. Her faith guided her through life. She liked baseball, an occasional piece of chocolate, and watching Lawrence Welk. Dorothy enjoyed cooking for her family during the holidays.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5-7 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, with her funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Please meet at Lakewood Park Cemetery on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11 AM for her graveside service.
