Douglas Arthur Cantrell's Obituary
Douglas Arthur Cantrell, age 79, passed away on December 27, 2021. Douglas was born on August 31, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Leo and Josephine Cantrell.
Douglas was a proud Navy Veteran. He was an avid hunter, and he was at peace when camping. He was a Browns season ticket holder for many years. Most of all, Douglas loved spending time with his family and friends.
Douglas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a friend to all who knew him. Douglas is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Brenda Cantrell; son, Ronald (Lauren) Cantrell; grandchildren, Sophia (Joseph Rico) Cantrell and Angie (Troy) Otto; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Jaxson, Riley, Duane IV, Jordan, and Darren: siblings, James Cantrell, Sandra (Jerry) Schmidt, Yvonne (Scott) Little; sister-in-law, Bonnie Cantrell; and many other extended family and friends.
Douglas is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Cantrell; sister-in-law, Barbara Cantrell.
Douglas touched many lives throughout his life. He will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held January 5. 2022 at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum at 10:00 AM.
