Douglas E. Parobek's Obituary
Douglas E. Parobek, of Berea, OH Passed away peacefully on March 13th,2023. He was the eldest of 3 children born March 31st, 1951 to the late Andrew D. Parobek and Helen (Nee’ Bienik). Douglas grew up in Parma Heights where his love for sports began. He was a member of the last undefeated Valley Forge High School Football team in Parma Heights in 1968. After graduating High School, Douglas attended Baldwin Wallace University where he met and married the love of his life, Lynne (nee’ Hobart) in 1976. After graduating college, he attended graduate school at Cleveland State University where he received a master's degree. Douglas was lifelong member of the Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served until his health declined. His hobbies include: gardening, physical fitness, traveling and Cleveland Sports. Douglas leaves to cherish in his memory; his devoted wife, Lynne; his children; Bryan (Kelly Gabriel) Parobek, Elizabeth (Gino) Paulus& Brett (Patty) Parobek. Grandchildren; Lana, Gino, Aria, Axel Paulus, and Brett & Russell Parobek. Sisters; Andrea (Steve) Korinchak & Pam (Bill) Eltrich, Sister-in-law; Joan (Duane) Kovatch, and a host of nieces, nephews and family members. Family will receive Family and friends at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, on Thursday March 16th from 4-7pm.
