Edna K. Pasternak's Obituary
Edna K. Pasternak, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025. Born on December 31, 1961, she was the beloved daughter of the late Junior and Ruth Darnell.
Edna’s life was filled with joy, resilience, and optimism. She was a devoted mother to Vincent Pasternak (Bambi Petrella) and Violet Pasternak, and a proud grandmother to Ryan Lossman and Aisha Duale. Her family was her greatest source of pride, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie Shorb and Robert Shorb. Edna was also a caring aunt to Robert A. Shorb, Matthew Shorb, Amanda Shorb, Eddie Shorb, Jr., and Beth Shorb, who will remember her warmth and laughter fondly.
Edna had a passion for music and concerts, finding joy in the rhythm of life and sharing that love with those around her. She appreciated the simple pleasures—like a good beer with friends—and was known for her unwavering optimism, even in the face of life’s challenges. Her spirit was a reminder to those who knew her that hope and positivity can light even the darkest days.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to bring people together. Edna’s legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who will carry forward her love of life and her optimistic outlook.
A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and continue her tradition of joy and togetherness.
