Edvins Auzenbergs' Obituary
Edvins Auzenbergs, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024. Born on March 7, 1939, to the late Otto and Ida Auzenbergs (nee Pobuls), Edvins lived a life dedicated to his family and faith.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Biruta Auzenbergs (nee Romanis), and his cherished children, Gunar Edvins Auzenbergs and Daina Ruta (Ken) Takacs (nee Auzenbergs). Edvins was a proud grandfather to Megan Irene Auzenbergs, Caroline Ann (Hunter) Lineback (nee Auzenbergs), and Justin Andrew Takacs.
Edvins was a man of faith and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He was kind and caring and had a great gift for connecting with people. Edvins will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:30-11 AM at the United Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cleveland, 15120 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, where his funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Friends and family are invited to join the family for a reception at the church following the service.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cleveland.
