Edward Joseph Maurer's Obituary
Edward, 88, of North Olmsted, was peacefully taken to his heavenly home on October 2, 2020.
Ed was born in Cleveland to Herman and Emma (nee Klick) Maurer on May 4, 1932. Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Edyth Van Natta (nee Maurer).
Ed served his country in the United States Army, and then went on to work at NASA Lewis/ Glenn for 30 years. For 58 years, Ed was the adoring husband of Patricia (nee Carter). Ed was the loving father of Laurie (Jeff) Kubiak, and loving grandfather to Brittany, Michael (Katie) and Bradley (Antoinette). Ed was also the loving great grandfather to Calvin, Everett and Emma.
A private burial service will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
