Edward Calvin Taylor's Obituary
Edward Calvin Taylor, 93, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2023. He was born on September 23, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio to John A. and Georgianna (nee Dillman) Taylor. Uncle Ed will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, especially David (Marie, deceased) Taylor, Deborah (Donald) Maslanka, John E. (Karen) Taylor, Susan (Larry) Nolan, Theresa (Joseph) Baginski and Mary Stout. He was brother to the late John (Alice) Taylor and Mary (William) Duck. Ed enjoyed his Airedale Terrier Samantha and loved horses and used to go to Thistledown to watch the horse races. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. Ed loved his family and enjoyed spending time working in his yard and he loved being called Uncle Ed. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Interment with Air Force Honors will follow at 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
