Edwin Kowalinski's Obituary
Edwin “Ed” Kowalinski, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 16, 1936, to the late Edwin and Anna Kowalinski. Ed served in the US Airforce until his honorable discharge. He went on to work for Ohio Bell for many years before retirement.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his daughter, Lynn; granddaughters, Sarah and Emily; stepdaughters, Janet (Buck), Susan (Nick), and Tracy (Doug); grandchildren, Kellie (Michael), Jen (Jason), Stefan (Liz), Alexa, Brooke, & Cole; and great grandchildren, Olive, and Keegan. Ed’s family was the heart of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A proud and active member of the Elks Club, Ed found joy in building intricate miniatures—especially trains and architectural models. His talent for woodworking was matched only by his generosity and gentle spirit. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family whom he cherished deeply.
