Elba Caraballo's Obituary
Elba Caraballo, 90 years young of Westlake, Ohio, passed away on October 16, 2022. Elba was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, on July 28, 1932. Wife to the late Pedro A. Caraballo, she will be lovingly missed by their children Haydee (Dan) Izuka and Leida Diedrichs. Elba was the proud grandmother of Amanda (Quinton) Lawman, Amelia (Daniel) Muncy, Thomas (Jessica) Diedrichs and Victoria (Vincent) Geels; and great-grandmother to Ethan Daniel Muncy, Evan Michael Muncy, Tyson Will Lawman and Elisa Love Lawman. She was a loving sister to Miriam Albarran (deceased), Sara Caraballo (deceased), Nilda Segarra, Jose Caraballo (deceased), Sonia Albino, Luz Neyda Caraballo (deceased), Noel Caraballo (deceased), Zinnia Rivera and Luis Caraballo. She worked for many years as a seamstress at “Joseph & Feiss,” enjoyed cooking and taking care of her plants, but she will be most remembered for her devotion to her faith and her prayerful way of life. Visitation will take place Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:30 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2256 Clague Rd., Westlake, Ohio, 44145.
