She was a loving, devoting mother of eight children. She was the West Park Mom, the keeper of Impett Park. She loved attending every game/event – she was a sports mom before the term even existed. Betty grew up in the OLA neighborhood, attended St. Augustine’s High School and then began her career as an x-ray technician at St. Vincent Charity right up until she met the love of her life, Chuck. Betty and Chuck married on June 20,1959.
Betty enjoyed taking long drives in the car with Chuck, volunteering and most important, spending time with her family. She also had a strong faith in the Lord. On June 20, 2019, Betty and Chuck renewed their vows of 60 years at OLA, the place where it all began.
