Ellen M. Harrison's Obituary
Ellen M. Harrison, age 76, passed away on June 23, 2026, following a long and courageous 13-year battle with dementia. Born on December 26, 1949, to the late Bernice and John McGuire, Ellen lived a life defined by her deep love for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the steady presence she provided to those closest to her.
Ellen was the beloved wife of Michael D. Harrison. She was a devoted mother to Eric (Shawna) Gehrke, Dustin (Danielle) Harrison, and Tyler Harrison, and a proud and loving grandmother to Caden Gehrke, Ian Gehrke, and Austin Harrison. Her grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride. She is also survived by her siblings, Kathy Sherban, John McGuire, Marianne McGuire, Patrick McGuire, Michael McGuire, and James McGuire, who will cherish a lifetime of shared memories with her.
Memorial visitation is Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 12 PM – 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where the memorial service will follow at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Ellen to the Alzheimer’s Association.
