Elmer Wells' Obituary
Elmer Wells Jr., age 86, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
He was born November 17, 1933, in Paintsville, KY, son of the late Elmer and Pearl (nee Hamilton) Wells.
Devoted husband of the late Mary Jo Wells; cherished father of Gary (Debbie) Wells, Karen (Richard) Checovich, and Scott (Lisa) Wells; beloved grandfather of Tristan Wells, Daniel (Brandi Willard), and Andrew (Hanna Neal) Checovich; loving great grandfather of Blake and Keegan Checovich; treasured brother of Neva Sue Baker, the late Rosemary Harmon, the late Herman Wells, and the late Janice Adkins.
Visitation will take place Friday, February 7, 2020 from 3PM – 5PM and 7PM – 9PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Saturday, February 8, at 10AM.
Memorial contributions in Elmer’s name are suggested to National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
