Jane was a woman of strong convictions. She held firm to her Lutheran beliefs throughout her life and found great comfort in her relationship with God. She was known to be a prayer warrior and read her daily devotions. Jane worked tirelessly as the church secretary of Zion Lutheran Church until her passing. She took pride in creating monthly newsletters and weekly church bulletins, ensuring that all members of the congregation were kept informed of upcoming events and services. Her commitment to her work was evident in the quality of her output, as she was highly respected by all those who worked with her. Jane's contributions to Zion will be remembered by all who knew her, and her unwavering dedication to her faith will be an inspiration to many.
Jane was a devoted wife to her late husband, Clifford, and a loving mother to her three sons, Seth, Philip, and Benjamin. She had a deep love for her siblings, her grandchildren, and her extended family. She was a very proud parent and grandparent, and her family knew that her directness came from a place of deep convictions.
Jane had a love for God’s creation and cherished the memories of spending time at the family cabin in Pennsylvania, fondly referred to as "the shack," during her children's formative years. Later in life, she and her husband, Clifford, enjoyed traveling to various campgrounds in their old RV. Jane had a talent for preserving and canning food, and her homemade jellies, jams, and canned tomatoes were always a hit with her family and friends. She was also an accomplished knitter and seamstress spending countless hours creating very practical clothes for herself and her loved ones. Jane's many talents and hobbies were a testament to her creativity and her desire to make things of beauty for those she loved.
Jane will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her unwavering faith, love for her family, and dedication to her community were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will be cherished by all who knew her.
