Emil J. Zbin's Obituary
Emil J. Zbin, 98 years young, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 15, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1923 to the late Paul and Mary (nee Novonty) Zbin. Emil will be fondly remembered as an avid golfer and bowler. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Lanz) Zbin of 63 years; loving father of Karen (Joseph) Hallman, Kenneth Zbin, and Kurt (fiancé Janet Kipple) Zbin; treasured grandfather of Joseph Hallman, Jr., Justin Hallman, and Jacob Zbin; dear former father-in-law of Joan Zbin; and cherished brother of Paul Zbin, Anna Bodde, Josephine Gregg, Margaret Rutkowski, and Mary LaLonda (all deceased), and Albert (Helen) Zbin; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10 AM at Transfiguration Church (St. Cyril), 12608 Madison Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. Family will receive friends from 9 AM until the time of mass at the church. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
