Emmelene cherished time with her family, always cooking special “birthday dinners” with her favorite meals of Saurbraten, Pierogi and whatever her children requested.
Emmelene took her faith seriously, never missing Sunday mass until she couldn’t leave home. Her favorite activities included reading, having breakfast in the metroparks with her family, lamb roasts on July 4, family vacations to Big Twin Lake in Michigan and get away weekends with her beloved husband.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Riverview Pointe Center for the amazing care she received in the last few years as a resident there.
