Ethel Elizabeth Smith's Obituary
Ethel E. Smith (nee Graf) born July 14, 1909 to Alice and Charles Graf, died peacefully June 15, 2012. She loved her three brothers, Al, George and Rob and a sister Nina Maslanka, all deceased. She treasured her cousins and other relatives with whom she shared many occasions.Ethel graduated from West Tech in 1927, and worked many years at Astrup Awning Co.She will be greatly missed by her beloved adopted family who were blessed to be a part of her life. Ethel enjoyed meaningful friendships through the Antique Club, her church, where she served as pianist and Sunrise Assisted Living, where she was loved by many caregivers and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 1:00 pm at Mount Pleasant UMC, 2768 Laurel Road, Brunswick, Oh 44212. Pastor Marta Mathatas will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant UMC.
