Ethel M. "Ziggie" Ziegler's Obituary
Ethel M. “Ziggie” (nee Semler) Ziegler passed away peacefully November 9, 2018, at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Charles J. “Zig” Ziegler III, and son-in-law Gene F. Schwind. “Ziggie” is survived by her loving daughters Cynthia (Bruce) Ropers-Schwind Neudecker and Patricia (Michael) Oster; her adored grandchildren Jennifer Oster and Michael (Wednesday) Oster Jr.; and step-grandchildren Michelle (Steven) Bosau, Kevin (Mandy) Neudecker, and Keith (Shannon) Neudecker; precious great – grandchildren Grayson and Delia Oster; step-great-grandchildren Andrew and Nathan Bosau, Callen and Mackenzie Neudecker.
She was the ultimate refined Christian lady. Ziggie was a member of Heritage Congregational Church in Berea. She enjoyed bird watching, sewing, and baking. Her family was her life and she cherished spending time with them.
Family will receive friends for visitation at Heritage Congregational Church, 485 West Street, Berea, Ohio, on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10 AM to be followed by her funeral service at 11 AM. A graveside service will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Heritage Congregational Church; or to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 S. Waterloo Road, Cleveland, OH 44110.
