Eugene Bonness' Obituary
Eugene Bonness, 87, of Strongsville, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023. He was born July 2, 1936 in Cleveland to the late Frederick and Viola (Webster) Bonness. He was a lineman for Ohio Bell and enjoyed golf and spending time on the water boating. Eugene was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Royal Arcanum.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Bonness.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Lek) Bonness, Eileen (Rick) Campbell, Raymond (Heidi) Bonness, Joyce (Brian) Satterfield; step-children, Michele, Karen, and Gary; grandchildren, Eugene, Marcie, Daniel, Kevin and Keith; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Zoey, Leyland, Colt, and Audrey; twin sister, Jeannette Morris; siblings, Wilma McGee and Richard Bonness; cousins, Clyde Bena and Jack Barsa.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00AM at Sunset Cemetery, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Please meet at Sunset Chapel by 9:45AM to process together. Following the Memorial Service, the family is hosting a reception in the Sunset Chapel Banquet Hall. All are welcome.
