“Gene” Eugene V. Gibbons, age 85, passed away April 13th, 2015; beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A. Gibbons; dear father of Michael (Diane), Patricia (Thomas) Narducci, Jacquelyn (Richard) Czyzynski, and Terrence (Tracy); loving grandfather of Elizabeth Narducci, Megan Sendlak, Caitlin Shea, Connor, Ryan, Michael, Alexa Czyzynksi, Cayleigh, Clayton Czyzynski, Ashleigh, Eugene, Owen Czyzynski, and great-grandfather of Cadence Shea, Ireland Shea, Mara Sendlak, Kinzy Shea, and Rory Sendlak; NCAA Champion and All American Wrestler at Michigan State University, Member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Noted Teacher and Wrestling Coach at John Marshall High School, Padua High School, and in his later years St. Ignatius High School as an Assistant Coach; VISITATION Wednesday 2-4PM and 6-9PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd; Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11:30AM at St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Rd; Interment Sunset Memorial Park; Memorial Donations may be made in his name to St. Ignatius High School Wrestling Program or the Cleveland State University Wrestling Program.
