FRANKS EVA ‘MARIE’ FRANKS (nee Brandt), 91, of Bay Village entered into rest June 24, 2013. Beloved wife of the late C. Howard Franks; loving mother of Howard Brandt Franks, Deborah Jo Goldman (Marc) and Vicki Marie Franks; daughter of Frank H. and Eva Marquerite Brandt (both deceased); dear sister to Helen (deceased); dear sister-in-law of Joann Simms; cherished grandmother of Dr. Stephen Goldman (Stacy), Darren Franks, Amy Goldstein (Jason), Allison Medlin (Mark); great-grandmother of Abigail Grace and Emma Marie Goldman, Ian Harris and Margo Elise-Ann Goldstein and Brittany Morgan and Jordyn Michelle Medlin; cherished friend of Mathann, Jan, George, Betty and many others. Marie was a longtime resident of Bay Village where she resided for 60 years. She was an avid lover of antiques where she actively participated in running the YMCA auctions back in 1960 and was a friendly face among the antique shows. She enjoyed telling stories of the history behind her antiques. Marie’s second passion was her flare for decorating and fashion. Her artistic ability lead her to decorating dress shop stores throughout the area. She will be remembered for her sly sense of humor and being the second Mom to many friends. Family will greet friends ONE HALF HOUR PRIOR TO THE MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 5 P.M. FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2013 AT JENKINS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2914 DOVER CENTER RD., WESTLAKE.
