Evangeline Kay Bowman's Obituary
Evangeline Kay Bowman, 79, of North Olmsted, passed away November 8, 2018.
Beloved wife of George Sr.; loving mother of George (Holly) Bowman Jr. and Dale Bowman; cherished grandmother of Carrie, Kelly, Alexandra, Dale Jr., and Tyler; dear great grandmother of Caylon, Robert, and one on the way; and sister of Charles Burneson.
She was the family matriarch and the strongest woman they have ever known. Her love knew no boundaries and she shared it openly with her beloved family and friends. She will be missed by her friends and coworkers at Liberty Mutual, Giant Eagle and their Thursday lunch group.  Evangeline had an inhouse ceramic studio where she taught ceramics. She loved to ride horses. When she was younger, she would race George- him on his motorcycle and her on her horse. Have you ever been on a trotting horse that starts to canter and then gallop? It’s the most soothing rhythm as you push through the wind, you almost feel like you’re flying. Her family prays that it is the type of peace she knows now.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10 AM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
