Frances K. Fernlund Rosser's Obituary
Frances K. Fernlund Rosser (nee Monaghan), 75, of North Olmsted, passed
away August 20, 2016.
She was born May 4, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to Paul E. and Esther June (Sober) Monaghan. Beloved mother of Angela (Rich) Jones, Cheryl (David) Faust, and Chad (Heather) Fernlund; loving grandmother of Christopher, Caitlin, Renee, Emily, David Jr., Ryan, Kiley and Keegan; dear sister of Dr. Patrick (Mary) Monaghan, Daniel (Carol) Monaghan, and the late Charles Monaghan; sister-in-law of Carol Monaghan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Frances was raised in Ashtabula, OH and was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was a 1959 graduate of St. John High School, and a 1961 graduate of Lakewood School of Practical Nursing. She provided loving care to many as a nurse for 40 years at Lakewood General Hospital and St. John Medical Center. For many years, she was an active member of John Knox Presbyterian Church in North Olmsted and was part of many community organizations and activities.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016, at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 25200 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, OH. A celebration of life reception at the church will follow the memorial service. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery on Carpenter Rd. in Ashtabula.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church.
