Frank Joseph LaCasse's Obituary
Frank Joseph LaCasse, age 82 yrs., died June 2, 2013.
Born in Keene, New Hampshire, Frank served in the United States Air Force during WWII which transferred him to Cleveland in 1950. It was in Cleveland where he met the love of his life, Agnes (nee Mallett) and married her just six months later. Their marriage would last over 60 years. Frank raised his family in Cleveland and worked for General Motors as a millwright, retiring in 1991 with 40 years of service. In retirement he took up the hobby of carpentry. He was a hunter, a fisherman, a race car driver and a member of a racing pit crew. He owned and raced a 1951 Ford. Frank was a longtime member of the Quarry Lodge No. 382 F.&A.M. and was known by many as the â??Mayor of Carol Driveâ?. He will be miss by all who knew and loved him.
He was the loving husband of Agnes (nee Mallett); loving father of Charles J. and Margaret Juchum (Gregg); cherished grandfather of Carl Gotwald (Denise), Jacob Juchum, and Noah Juchum; great-grandfather of Evelyn Gotwald; much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. TUESDAY, June 4, 2013 in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where Masonic Services will be held at 7:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel.
