Frederick J. Becka's Obituary
Fred J. Becka, age 70, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away July 4, 2024. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Peck) of 46 years. Loving father of Kathleen (Adam) Hooks, Margaret (Michael) Ratliff, and Kelly (Alan) McAusland. Cherished grandfather of Amylynn, Addison, Aiden, Audrey, Emma, Leah, Hailey, and Madilyn. Dearest brother of Robert F. Becka and William R. Becka (deceased). Adored uncle of 15 nieces and nephews.
Fred was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 12, 1954 to the late Alma (nee Gannon) and Robert S. Becka. He graduated from John Carrol University with a degree in business. He started his career with National City Bank and retired from PNC after 43 years. Fred was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan, and sports enthusiast. In retirement he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. His funeral service will be held Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 10 am at St. Richards Catholic Church, 26855 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted Ohio 44070 with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
