Frederick S. Schuster's Obituary
Frederick S. Schuster, 93, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Fred was born in Cleveland to the late Steven and Josephine (nee Tscherne) Schuster on May 16, 1928.
Fred was a loving, funny, and energetic person. He loved gardening, golfing, running races, visiting Florida and the beach, and watching Cleveland sports. He played many instruments and was in a polka band. Fred proudly served his country as a Marine and in the Army as well. He is survived by his children Carol Drube, Nancy (Jack) Geideman, Jeanne Alger, Dianne (Richard) Berns; grandchildren Michael, Max, Jennifer, Shannon, Joshua, Matthew, Samantha, Stephen, Victoria, and Richard; great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Brayden, Jack, and Laylynn; former wife Marilyn; late brother Richard (late Lee); sister Rosemarie (late Erwin); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Westlake located at 27993 Detroit Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145 at 10am. Burial will conclude our services in Sunset Memorial Park.
