Gabriel Scott Ottinger's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gabriel Scott Ottinger, 25, of Brook Park, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2024. Born on December 14, 1998, Gabriel brought joy and light to everyone who knew him.
Gabriel is survived by his loving parents, Jason Ottinger and Maryellen (Ron) McCullough; his cherished siblings, Nicholas (Tessa Hoduski) McGuire, Noah Ottinger, Joshua (Natalie Cobb) Ottinger, Elijah Ottinger, Tristan Ottinger, and Olivia McCullough; his beloved grandmother, Maureen McGuire; and his step-grandparents, Cindy and Ralph Ball. He will also be dearly missed by his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Bill Randolph; his uncles, Jared Ottinger and Matt Ottinger; and his cousins, Liam, Ian, Ethan, Michaela, and Billy Randolph. Gabriel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tony McGuire.
Gabriel was known for his loving, generous, kind, and thoughtful nature. He had a remarkable ability to put a smile on everyone’s face. His love for God was evident in his daily life, and he often spoke about Heaven and Jesus. Gabriel had a passion for music, and he found joy in playing the guitar and singing. He was also a talented poet and artist, expressing his creativity through writing, drawing, and music.
Gabriel’s memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His time on Earth was loved by many and he is awaiting us in Heaven. Gabriel will be dearly missed.
Family and friends may gather for visitation at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral service at 4:00 p.m.
