Gail J. Michnay's Obituary
Gail Joanne Michnay, 87, of Berlin, Maryland, passed away on April 7, 2025. Born on March 7, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Zelenka.
Gail was the beloved wife of the late Glenn Michnay. She leaves behind her devoted children, Denise (Dana) Gottloeb and Warren (Jane) Milota, as well as her adoring grandchildren, Bryan (Allison), Adam (Ali), Jason (Stephanie), and Christopher. Her legacy continues to flourish through her great-grandchildren, Claire, Leah, Kaley, and Ava. She is also survived by her loving sister, Donna (Henry) Baker. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her dear brother, Ralph Zelenka.
Gail lived a full and vibrant life enriched by her passions and the love she shared with those around her. She was an avid traveler, and her family delighted in receiving postcards from the many places she visited. For over 30 years, she found joy and camaraderie in square dancing, a testament to her lively spirit. She enjoyed playing cards and was always teaching her family new games to play. Gail was known for her selflessness, always going out of her way to help others with a kind heart. Above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, who will forever cherish her memory.

A memorial service for Gail will be held on Tuesday May 27th, 2025, at 2:00pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
