Gary T Coffin's Obituary
Gary T. Coffin, 79, passed away on January 6, 2022. He was born on August 12, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Lynn and Ahlene M. (nee Kingsley) Coffin. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Prockup); stepfather of the late Theresa Faiken and Paul (Lorraine) Faiken; step grandfather of Anthony, Paul III, and Brian Faiken and Kimberly Holderman; step great grandfather of 10; and dear brother of the late Niles and the late Lynn Coffin Jr.
Gary was a proud veteran of United States Navy and spent his career as a truck driver. He found great joy in listening to classical music and played the violin, cello, and viola. He will be missed by those he loved.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10 AM at the chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
