Gary William Hartwig, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1955, to the late Ann and Raymond Hartwig.
Gary was a devoted brother to Char (Ed) Conner and Pamela Hartwig, and a proud uncle to Thomas (Pamela) McCauley. His family was his anchor, and he cherished the time spent with them.
A man of many interests, Gary found joy behind the lens of a camera, capturing the beauty of everyday life through his love of photography. He had a special bond with animals, especially his beloved cat, Jack, who was his constant companion and source of comfort. Gary enjoyed the thrill of playing the lottery, cheering on his favorite football teams, and watching the roar of Nascar races. Colorado held a special place in his heart, where he loved to travel and attend football games, soaking in the energy and excitement of the sport he adored.
Above all, Gary will be remembered for his wonderful heart. He was thoughtful, generous, and always ready with a kind word or helping hand. His presence brought light to those around him, and his memory will continue to do so.
A private interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
