George M. Csikos AKA "Mr. C"'s Obituary
George M. Csikos, 75, of Lakewood, OH, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2015 surrounded by his family.
George was born on September 4, 1939 in Hungary to the late Karoly and Ilona (Kovacs) Csikos. He was one of nine children. George served in the U.S. Army and retired from Ford Motor Company as a motor mechanic after 42 years of service.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Dianna Csikos (nee Mastney) of 51 years; children Deb (Brad) Vandrasik, Gregg (Susan) Csikos and Doug (Anita) Csikos; grandchildren Chris, Mac, Ethan, Peter and Wyatt;  siblings Marge (Bob) Bees, Peter (Linda) Csikos and Gabe (Candy) Csikos. George will also be dearly missed by his loving companion and furry friend, Zeus.
George was a unique and fun-loving soul who emanated joy in everything he did. He was part of the scouting program for 35 years and served as a scout master for 15 years. He loved all outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, camping and gardening. George loved to dance and was an instructor with Arthur Murray Dance Center. He will be truly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Per George’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of George’s life took place on Saturday, September 5, 2015, 10 AM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Favorite photos and stories were much appreciated. Inurnment followed in Sunset Memorial Park. In George’s memory, donations may still be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to all the extended family and friends that made it for Georg’s celebration. The day would not have been complete without you all.
