George Charles Kingsbury's Obituary
George Charles Kingsbury, Jr., 58, of Olmsted Township, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2014.
He was born in Cleveland, the son of the late George Sr. and Marjorie Ann (nee Todd). He graduated in 1974 from North Olmsted High School and enlisted with the US Air Force. In 2011, George retired from the Westlake school system (Holly Lane Elementary). He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A man known for his wonderful sense of humor, he always had a smile on his face. He shared a special bond with his niece, Maggie Jean, PFC in the US Army, stationed in Honolulu.
Beloved husband of Janis Ann (nee Muche), who predeceased him on February 14, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, and his grandmother, Helen “Sally” Todd. Adored step-son of Joseph Matlak; loving brother of Anne Kundtz (Daniel); cherished uncle of Maggie and Casey Kundtz and Emily Ickes (Jeff); dear step-father of Kelly Ann Grabski; cousin of Jim Campana.
Memorial service Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 4PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd., #440, Independence 44131.
