George H. McLaughlin, age 83, passed away on April 29, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on May 13, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late George C. and Dorothy McLaughlin.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Sue McLaughlin. He was a father to Scott (Ann) McLaughlin and Maria (Gary) Sycz. He was a grandfather to Corey (Lexi) McLaughlin, Brad (Jesse) McLaughlin, Michael (Daniella) Sycz, Nicholas (Vanessa) Sycz, and Olivia Sycz. His legacy continues in his great‑grandchildren, Michael, Tanner, and Grayson.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate George’s life on Saturday, May 9, 2026, for a visitation from 10 AM – 12 PM at Sunset Memorial’s Westwood Abbey Mausoleum, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, with a funeral service to follow at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations made in George’s memory to a cause meaningful to you.
