George R. Welch, 83, was born on April 19, 1940, to the late Harvey and Dora Welch.
George passed away on November 24, 2023. Beloved husband of 52 years to Elva F. Welch. Cherished father of Kim Black and Pam (Dan) Lebold. Loving grandfather of Melanie Castrucci, the late Frankie Castrucci, Jessica (Mike) Eisenman, Nate (Ellen) Lebold, and Jacob Lebold. Adored great-grandfather of Elijah Castrucci, Isabella Peters, Elvy Lebold, and Peyton Lanphere. Dear brother of Mary (John, deceased) Mandyrk, the late Bernard (Betty) Welch, and the late Troy (Sharon, surviving) Welch.
George was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp and Concordia Lodge, where he was a Past Master Mason.
Memorial Service is Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
Graveside ceremony is Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will gather at 9:45 AM at the chapel to line up in procession to the graveside ceremony.
