Gerald Joseph Yustick's Obituary
Gerald Joseph Yustick, age 86, of North Royalton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025.
Born on May 12, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, Gerald was the beloved son of the late Walter and Helen Yustick.
Gerald is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Frances Yustick, whom he married on October 28, 1972. He was a loving father to Cynthia (Darian) Tucker and a proud grandfather to Joseph, David (Sarah), and Sarah (Marcel). His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald (Carole) Yustick.
Gerald built a successful career as a district manager for Winkleman’s and later worked in the printing industry, creating banners and billboards. After retirement, he embraced his lifelong passion for art, specializing in watercolor and black-and-white pieces. His creativity and dedication to his craft brought joy to many.
He found great happiness in traveling, especially on cruises with Frances and their family, with the Mediterranean holding a special place in his heart. Gerald also enjoyed bowling and participated in leagues over the years. His love for his cats, his kindness, and his patience were qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Gerald’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and gentle strength. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Westwood Abbey Mausoleum).
