A Life well Loved and Lived.
An Angel has been sent to Heaven to be with her Family and Friends.
The love that poured out when you were around Tante Gertrud was felt in all our hearts. You could feel how much she loved you and we loved her right back. A lesson to all of us.
Onkle Gerhard & Tante Gertrud were so in love it was an inspiration to me what a marriage should be. They worked together and built a beautiful home together with pride.
They loved Manfred & Ralph. She would always call them her boys or they would call every night to say Schlaf Gut and I Love You. WOW She was an Amazing Mom.
We would visit at Easter when I was young and our Aunts would get the Eggs painted and the next morning we would find them in her well kept Rock Garden that she loved to work in.
So I have learned alot from Tante Gertrude and will miss her dearly.
Thank You for all the wonderful Childhood memories.
Days before she passed her last words she said to us when we called was
I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU
WE LOVE YOU TOO

Mama Gertrud had a smile that could light up the room. She also had a mischievous cute sense of humor to get her way. Although she suffered much after her stroke, she never complained and so appreciated all that was done for her. She was so easy to love, as her heart was so open to give love. The second paragraph of the obituary describes her perfectly!💖: 1:🏼. -Marie
