At one time there was close to 40 kids under the age of 18 on Normandy, Glenn and I were two of those kids who spent a lot of time riding our bikes around with the other kids, we rode everywhere. Both our dads worked at Ford so we had something in common, plus Mr. Roser helped build my parents house. We talked cars a lot, mostly Fords, both our families had '66 Mustangs. I spent many a lunch at Glenn's, Mrs. Roser would make the best bologna sandwiches with red Kool-Aid in either Tupperware or aluminum cups, I can't remember which. I have photos of us kids on our bikes and at various birthday parties, cleaning out my basement I looked at them last fall, good times. Glenn had a green Huffy 3-speed banana bike and I rode my brothers old Schwinn 5-speed. Mrs. Roser would drive Glenn and I in her '70 XL to Cedar Point almost every year, it had air conditioning! We would always have a blast. As kids we would have a few fights but Glenn was always quick to forget about it. As we grew older we saw less of each other but we remained good friends and we would talk occasionally. I was shocked and sad when I heard the news of his passing. I'm glad the last time I saw him we laughed a bit as we caught up with each other. I will miss my friend.
