Godfrey (Gus) Swanson, 90, beloved husband of 66 years to Ruth (nee Schneebeli). Dear father of Robert G. Swanson (wife Rozann). Fond grandfather of Julie Felder (Kevin), Karen Swanson Haan (Justin) and Eric Swanson (Kathryn). Devoted great grandfather to Owen, Maia, Adam, Collin, Luca, Grace and Nico. Friends and family will gather from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday October 23 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday October 24 at 9:30am at St. Mary of the Falls, 25615 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls. Interment Sunset Memorial Park with full military honors.
