Gregory R Poore's Obituary
Gregory Robert Poore, 80, of Westlake, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born on November 11, 1945, to the late Robert and Ida (née Therkelsen) Poore.
Greg was the beloved husband of 60 years to Jean (née Czuba). He was a devoted father to Rick (Victoria) Poore, Michael (Suzanne) Poore, Julie Ann (Dennis) Thompson, and Matthew (Allison) Poore. He was a proud grandfather to Caitlin, Megan, Samantha, Joey, Ethan, Brandon, Emma, Abby, and Mia. Greg is also survived by his sister, Barbara.
He built a long and successful career as a corporate lawyer, earning the respect of colleagues and clients throughout the years. Outside of work, Greg enjoyed boating, skiing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. These activities brought him joy and reflected his appreciation for fresh air, movement, and time with the people he loved.
Greg will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the steady, thoughtful presence he brought to every part of his life.
A visitation will be held on Thursday February 26, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
