Gretta L. Shaw Cooper (nee Waltz), age 90 formerly of Olmsted Falls, passed away December 8, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Michael Shaw and the late Bernard Cooper; loving mother of Sue Ann Miller (Chris Horsfall), Ken Shaw (Adlyn Glass), Al (Lucy) Shaw, Richard (Roxanne) Cooper and Janet (Jeff) Slattery; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Brandon) Mathias, Jeff Miller, Kelly Miller, Kenny (Kara) Shaw, Ashley Shaw, Dave Shaw (Rae Knopf) and Dan Shaw; great grandmother of Jacob, Ben, Hannah, Jack, Noli, Lily, Declan and Poppy; dear sister of Carole (the late John) Buchanan, Jane (Jim) Young, and Dick (Jennifer) Waltz.
Gretta cherished spending time with her family and friends. She retired from Fairview Hospital as a registered nurse after 27 years. She was a devoted member of Parma South Presbyterian Church and was very active at the Strongsville Rec. Center.
Private family services were held with interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at Parma South Presbyterian Church, 6155 Pearl Rd. Parma Hts., OH 44130.
