Harold Dean Grindstaff's Obituary
Harold D. Grindstaff, 82, of Brook Park, passed away June 14, 2018.
He was born in Elizabethton, TN, the son of the late George and Chelsea Dean Grindstaff. Harold is the beloved husband of 30 years to Rosemary (nee Lasley); loving father of Robin (Ben) Nicolosi, Denise (Charles) Ensor, Cathy Bentley, Harold D. Jr., Darrell, Mike (Peggy) Rhein and Robert Rhein; cherished grandfather of Kara Nicolosi, Benjamin (Kim) Ensor, Jordan (Jennifer) Ensor, Hayley Bowers, Jeremy Humeston and Olivia Humeston and great-grandfather of Alyssa Nelson and Reagan and Grayson Ensor; dear brother of Imogene Dykes, Brenda Kate (Gordon) Rodgers and Janice (Doug) Fair; adored uncle of many. He retired from General Motors as a Machine Operator. He had a love for country music and gospel. He enjoyed working on cars and his passion was in landscaping and gardening.
Funeral service Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2PM at the Sunset Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1PM until the time of service. Private committal services will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd., S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
