Harold D. Lloyd's Obituary
Harold D. Lloyd, age 77, of Olmsted Twp, passed away at home peacefully on July 5 surrounded by his family. Harry fought a courageous five month battle with cancer. He was a selfless, generous, hardworking and caring man who found joy in the simplest of things- time with family, playing cards, watching the Indians, Cavs, and Jeopardy, helping his family fix anything and everything, reading the paper, and napping. His wit and humor kept his family smiling even through his last day. His greatest achievements were marrying the girl next door and love of his life, Esther, and creating a beautiful family: Debbie and John Henton, Denise and Karl Patay, and Deanna and Jeff Gorka. He adored his grandchildren: Alexis, Olivia, Zach, Jake, Sophie, and Nick and great-grandchild, Ellie. He was the loving brother of Max and Hack, as well as those who proceeded him in death: Marion, Chester, Walter, and Ruby Pack. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Harry was an Army veteran and provided for his family working for Dairymens for 37 years. His family is blessed to live in the sunshine of his beautiful legacy. Calling hours at Sunset Memorial Friday 5-9, Funeral service at Sunset Chapel Saturday 10 a.m. Donations can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
